PoochPlay™ Dog Activity Tracker - Quick Start Guide
Compatible Devices
iPhones: We support all iPhones 5s and above.
Android: We support all Android phones that have Bluetooth 4.0 and Android 5.4 and above.
Compatible Operating Systems
iOS: We support version iOS 10 above, although we recommend that you update your phone to the latest version so that you get the most out of our App.
Android: We Support Lollipop (5.0) and above, however the PoochPlay™ App works best on Marshmallow (6.0) and above.
Downloading the App
Find “PoochPlay™” on the App Store and Google Play Store, or click on the links below to download the App.
Connecting your Tracker
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Open the PoochPlay™ App. Tap on the Tracker icon at the bottom of the screen (is in the one on the middle) and tap ‘ADD TRACKER’ to begin. Please make sure that the Tracker is close to you when trying to connect it.
- On the next screen, tap ‘Add Device’. PoochPlay™ should come up in the list of possible devices. Click on the Tracker you would like to connect and tap Connect. The App will take about 30 seconds to sync with your Tracker, so stay close while it syncs.
Once you have synced your device, you will automatically be taken to the activity screen. This is where you can see your daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals.
How to Replace the Battery
Twist the battery door counter clockwise using a small coin.
Replace the battery.
Twist the battery door clockwise to close it.
Once the battery door has been tightened, the light of the main device will flash for approximately two seconds. Next, shake the Tracker and a white light should appear. The device will need to be re paired with the App and you then will be ready to start tracking.

First Time Use
Please DO NOT connect a Tracker to more than one phone.
To start using the Tracker simply download the App and pair it with the Tracker.
Enter as much information as you can whist setting up the App. The more you tell the App, the better the recommendations will be. You will only have to do this once.

LED Colour Codes
Shake the device. If the white LED is on, the device has not been activated. You will need to sync the device to the App to get it activated. A blue LED should appear when your dog is active.
The Tracker is now ready for use, but not connected to the App. Follow Step 3 of this guide.

How to Wear the Device
The PoochPlay™ Activity Tracker should be attached in the same loop as the name tag or to your dog’s collar. Make sure that it is not where you would attach your dog’s lead as this might damage the Tracker.
